The Balamand Statement

The Balamand Statement was signed by Pope John Paul II in 1994. In it, both the Eastern Orthodox and Catholic churches agreed not to proselytize against each other. The document also said that neither Church would try to convert its own members. It's something like a truce in a conflict so that both sides can remove mistrust and suspicion.
