The Importance of Nasal Breathing During Sleep

The top sleep doctor in the world is Dr. Christian Giamino from Stanford Medical School and he coined to phrase obstructive sleep apnea back in the 1970s. He also developed what's called the apnea hypopnea index. These most recent papers are about the importance of nasal breathing during sleep. And it's really important to breathe both in and out through your nose because your nose is moistening and warming on the way but trapping moisture and heat on the way out.
