Boris Johnson's Treatment Will Reopen the Tory Wars

Fraser: Boris Johnson could have said to committee, okay, I'll brazen this out. But the thing is, there's no prizes for guessing what would have happened. Any MP who pretty much is found against for a 10-day suspension or more, and it's open to Rico, can expect to lose their seat. That's the way it goes. He jumped in anticipation of a by-election that he thought he was going to lose.
