The idea that some experiential stuff gets passed on to progeny even in mammals was emerging from literature extremely controversial but emerging nonetheless. How would you explore this on an animal that you can't regenerate? It seems like the plenary worms have this very special feature which is they grow back when you cut them. Yeah. So yeah, memories, cognitive abilities, these kinds of things that would at best seem to be the exception rather than the rule. That getting passed from generation to generation. Sure.
