The Prescience of Nanotechnology
I think that too often people kind of pick their own metaphors. I wish people would learn more about nuclear non-plurial proliferation before they go to Y2K as a metaphor for them. And nanotechnology is one of these things that like sounds very scary. It's based on Feynman's piece of, you know, a machine that could make a smaller machine. But there are also practical reasons why this isn't going to happen.
