There is an ongoing investment in these things that flatter us and Freud, right? And Marx too, we could put this in this genealogy or in this succession, right? Sure. Right? So like the rational market is kind of your commitments, even to the rationality of the market are the guardrails to that are the contingent irrationality, a randomness of birth and your commitment to that. That's another thing that kind of wounds us. It takes us out of the set. We become the output of economic forces rather than being drivers of our own destiny.
