What Did the Babylonians Think of Alexander the Great?
Alexander the Great failed to produce a decent air or even a potentially decent air while he was there. He didn't find out enough about the country he was going to and got really stuck on that south coast of Iran which is ghastly mountain. I don't know if he was pressed to take a wife when he was there but I don't think he wanted to. There's nothing like a good festival for people to come together and sell each other things and make arrangements. The New Year festival was the place to spend your money because that was where trading really went.
