The Power of Emotional Space

Emotions are a kind of a register in a sense that gives us information and that store memories. So sometimes we need signals from the emotion to tell us, Oh, I'm experiencing depression because maybe last week I was angry and didn't deal with it. Sometimes there's something I need to go back and look at to understand better or right now I'm feeling really calm. What is it about my circumstance right now that's making me feel calm so emotions can be used as an analogy for energy.
