President obomba decided to move forward to reach an agreement, understanding that they would have additional resources. The so called maximum pressure campaign that president trump put in place 20 18 withdrawing from the deal had no material effect on their regional adventures,. In fact, i think it's easy to argue that the regional issues intensified. They did not go down.
