Apple has a system called cryptexes, which are kind of like little tiny sealed volumes. They're basically little images that are cryptographically sealed. And in those cryptexes they make them smaller so you can update Safari more quickly. So on your Mac, if you go to general about and then click on the magical little I in a circle,. You will see that the last rapid security response that's in there is removed.
