Woodrow Wilson, You Were for or Against Him, He Would Cut You

Woodrow Wilson and Georges Clemenceau were the two main players in negotiations over a peace treaty. The French prime minister wanted Germany to pay reparations for its actions during World War One. But Wilson didn't think that was fair, so they would argue back and forth every day about how much money should be paid out. After years of heated talks, Wilson eventually agreed to make peace on principles laid down by his first president.
