John Stryker Meyer was a member of the U.S. Special Forces in Vietnam. He says he and his comrades were ordered to wear green berets when they crossed into Laos, Cambodia and North Vietnam. They had no identification papers or other forms of proof that they were US servicemen under Geneva Accords. CNC men don't fall into the category of prisoners of war but are still considered "spies" for their actions on the battlefield.
