It could be a good idea for you to also, in tandum, be working on some good deep breathing exercises that you practise frequently. So when you feel like you would like to bring things down a few notches physiologically, you can do that. But remember the point of this sort of exposure work is not to run and have no elevation at all. It's to, you know, run or walk, or do whatever you do, better at tolerating it. That's one of the ways that you actually do end up reducing anxiety. You know, you tolerate it, you build a better tolerance for it, you get used to it, and then it just doesn't happen
