When he was in high school, jim eliot decided that girls were fascinating and a terrible waste of time and money. And so he decided that he would give up on the dating thing when he got to college. The other thing that he gave up, which very few college men are prepared to do, was an hour of sleep. He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.
