So my burden, my burden will always be development. It will always be to build you because I need you to be who you're supposed to be, when you're supposed to be, who you're supposed to be. Are you hearing me? Ephesians 6, not unfamiliar at all. Verses 10 through 20, I'll move through them relatively quickly for the sake of your needs. I was going to say something, but I know, nope, not going to do it. Not going to do it. Not going to talk about the good make, the good make. I'm not going to do that. Those who have any idea to hear. Ephesians 6, 10 through 20, and then Zechariah 4 and 6, you know these two. Ephesians 6, 10 and 20 says, finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wilds of the devil. Therefore, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand. Therefore, stand, therefore, having girded your waste with truth, having put on the breast plate of righteousness and having shot your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end, with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints and for me, that utterance may be given to me that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel for which I am an ambassador in chains. That in it, I may speak boldly as I ought to speak. Zachariah 4 and 6, so he answered and said to me, this is the word of the Lord to zero bubble, not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. God, thank you for this gathering. Thank you for this moment together with you and your people and your children. God, there's no place like your presence. There's no place that we would rather be. There's nothing like your word. It is a lamp unto our feet, it's a light unto our path. In the beginning was your word and your word was with you and your word. Was your word develops us? It builds us. God, we don't live by bread alone, but we live by the words that proceed out of your mouth. We need your word. As Job said, your word is like food. It's needed more than my necessary food. I need your word. It develops us. It builds us up. It enlightens our eyes. It strengthens us. And so God, in this moment, I thank you for the spirit of wisdom and revelation and insight and knowledge. God, I'm yours, totally and completely yours. Your vessel, your mouthpiece, your eyes, your heart, your love, your hands. God, if you use me to bless your people, to touch and liberate them, to set them free, to set them on fire, as so much on their lives, Lord, may not a crumb be missed. May we be satisfied. May those in the room, those who are watching via livestream God, as a result of this time together. May we radically be changed. May we not be the same. May certain things, I pray specifically that some things would just be settled, where there has been instability, or may there be stability, where there was tossed to and fro. May they be steadfastness. May we settle once and for who we are, who's we are. May we call it to. Be able to start something great. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. God bless you. Say some kind to someone. Put you on your way down. Thank you, Lord. So I want to talk about where we are, the season, not even the season, the season, it's not the right term, but the moment that we're in, I want to talk about that. And I want to talk about what that is going to require, because I'm going to be honest with you. Oftentimes, I spend the majority of New Year's Eve talking about what God is going to do in the coming year. And this function that I had for this year was a little different. I felt more of an emphasis in the burden, not on what God is going to do, but who we have to become in this year. You understand what I'm saying? Because God's going to do what he's going to do. In fact, God has already done what he is doing. I wish I could say that better. One thing that it's kind of difficult to grasp because God was, is, and is to come. Jesus was the lamb slain before the foundation of the world. And the whole purpose of Jesus being slain was for the redemption of humanity. So before humanity even needed to be redeemed, the redemption happened. So it is both true and false that God is working. What is most accurate is God has worked. Are you hearing what I'm saying? And so we are stepping into what God has already worked out. And this ought to bring comfort to us. In other words, God has already worked out what you're trying to figure out. God is not scratching his chin in heaven, trying to come up with a solution about how he's going to deliver you. Before you got into the trouble, before you got entangled, the deliverance had already been prescribed. Are you hearing what I'm saying? This is the God that we serve. And as I look around at the world, I pay attention. If there's one note we ought to take right away, be alert. Not asleep, alert.
