The hearing brain engages how we think, how we feel and what we know. It pulls together information from all of these sources in order to make sense of the world. We are what we do and our lives and sound shape our brains. So if I am a musician, I will have learned. By strengthening your music skills, you are strengthening your language skills. You get really good at distinguishing sound based on the fundamental frequency.
