Low earth orbit is where working satellites go. It's also where space is most congested. The team even made its own debris to fire into space and bring back. A series of experiments included two surprisingly primitive retrieval tools, a harpoon and a net. And when it hits the debris, it can effectually wrap around that satellite and grab it like a draw string bag. But could they actually work? We were very much at one shot operation.
