Is Bit 47 Important or Good?

bit 47 is the idea of having a payment channel but it's like an on chain payment and so I think there are some debates online about whether that should be used or adopted we are seeing. A number of other competing approaches which have come about in the last sort of year or so including silent payments, 351 private payments etc. could be handy for people who need to just keep records as welllike of what did I do  and being able to easily move that across wallets or export it out into other applications even just for assessment or accounting or other purposes.
