The Future of AI

I think we're at this crucial crossroads between global transformation or ascension, if that's a word you use. I feel like what we do now, how we self-police our own actions will matter for years to come. For me, it's like AI is on the same level as nuclear power and the internet and the industrial revolution and the space race. We don't live in a world that rewards some of the things that we want AI to produce - mass extinction seems like the alternative. In the short term, they're amazing tools. But there are definitely some risks here.
