The Risks and Costs of Stateism

If I look at something like Vietnam, for example, and that's where I am today, there is no welfare system. How do we deal with all this? Because at the root level, at the micro level, if the behavior of large masses of populations inside a country builds to kind of like a not such good direction, that could be existential at some stage too. In some ways, it seems like a lot of people are willing to give up their power to the kind of central power.
