After Saffo by Selby Wind Shores looks at women's lives and tells it in a kind of, actually a sapphic way in both senses. The writing is just wonderful and it has these real sort of heavenly, these kind of soaring moments when you just think that's an absolutely lovely phrase. And I've just put the book out again with five more chapters, which is about women. There was a challenge almost because a recent bestseller on the Anglo-Saxon said it's not possible to write the biographies of women in the dark ages. But it is. It requires a lot of effort,.
