The Impact of Quantitative Easing on Asset Categories
Quantitative easing is a type of bailout, right? At the expense of people who've invested in US dollars. The banks are going to have to pay this off. This will lead to more stuff in the broader economy because banks are not lending. I was doing the math the other day on houses in my neighborhood and looking at how much their mortgages are. And then I was like looking on Zillow and noticing that none of the houses are there, they're all on Airbnb for short term rentals. It's just it hasn't been realized yet.
