Is the Fed Going to Push Deposits?
Mark O'Mara: Yellen's statement that deposits are safe really took the market by surprise. He says if we're just going to keep kicking every can down the road, sleep and sweep everything under rugs, it makes our financial system more fragile. The markets still is keeping rates at a place they've been in for some time, he says. "I see 80 bibs on Fed funds from May peak to the end of the year,"O'Mara adds.
