The G7 came together in 1973 when there was the oil shock. Part of the reason also about bringing places like Germany and Italy and Japan into the tent is because they had suffered so much after World War II. And then to Ross' point is when Russia came in and that was in the late 1990s, 1998 with Yeltsin. So the G7 really reflects some pretty seismic changes that the world has undergone both in terms of its geopolitics, its shifting power structure and its economic prowess.
