The Role of Housing Prices in the Housing Market

There's a lot of attention on this question of population loss or even in New York City, which has been growing questions about growth rate. We know how much of the much talked about issues with state population loss and especially population loss relative to other states that have been growing. Do we know how much housing affordability and the availability of housing and the lack of housing growth to keep up with some of the trends you mentioned? Do we know what role that plays? So I think we look at it really in an over the long timeframe.
