What Is the Difference Between Migraine and Headache?
In the UK, it is behind dementia and stroke. If we're talking about World Health Organization top 40, it would be ahead of them. It causes the loss of 200, 230,000 D.A.L.Ys annually - that's disability adjusted life years. So headache is literally just what it says on the tin, icky head, got a sore head.
