Baseball Reenactment

Would it be possible for two teams of amateur baseball slash history hobbyists to successfully stage a historical reenactment of a baseball game? I mean, preferably one with a full archive broadcast recreated down to every individual pitch and play. Could you actually get a major league team to just replay one of their games at this level if you wanted to make a movie or something? It would be easier in some ways if this is a lower level league where people are not throwing 95,. But then you're sacrificing some very similar to it in that it's not game speed exactly.
