If you have money to pay down debt and you don't invest, the question is invest versus pay down debt. I was excited to hear your guys' answer because this is something I'm really struggling with myself right now. Chris: There's a reason that personal finance is called personal. It's very individual, it's not all analytical. We went through times in my life where I was out of work and not having obligated payments or smaller obligated payments in those period of time helped a lot.
