Book Challenges Are on the Rise
There has been a dramatic escalation in the banning of books, and it seems to reflect culture war issues. Book challenges doubled from 20 20 to 20 21, according to the american library association. The majority of baned books fo on sexual orientation, gender identity, race and raceism. One texas school district is getting ready for the start of school by removing forty one books from school library shelves.
