The Different Types of Intentional Acts

Aquinas says we don't have to be thinking about every thing that you're doing for it to be an intentional act. But he thinks that would be different from an act which is not done with will at all. What's proper to your action as human is when it's a rational action. And a rational action means engaging these spiritual faculties of intellect and will. So he says, those actions are properly called human, which proceed from a deliberate will.
