I think there's the tragic romantic Romeo and Juliet that has ingrained in a lot of people. Death is romantic because the person who's dying can never love anybody else. You're going to die and I can't ever be replaced because you're dead. The thermometer becomes this metaphor for measuring your life. It's very beautiful, actually. In real life, it's not so beautiful. That's one of the most fraught moments,. Like when you're taking your temperature, you're like, what's the reveal going to be?
