Stratum Mining Protocol
Stratum v1 is a protocol between the Bitcoin mining machines and the pools so that pools can distribute jobs to the miners in a scalable way. The difficulty adjustment base means that if blocks are found too quickly, then you have to add another zero or not really not zero,. But basically just becomes more difficult because in order to have more zeros at the start of a number, you have to do more random gases. So this was the biggest edit value compared to get block template back in the day where this was the old way of mining.
