What Do They Call It in France?
Bask is an isolate, as far as anybody can tell. It's non-Indo-European. Some people have said that they are the last remnants of the original European chromañons. But there's too much mix to say for sure. There is something. We know for sure that they were there before the Indo-Europeans came, but how long before that we don't know?
