The Diversity of Characters in the World We Live In
I was going towards optionality such as civilization as the expansion optionality. And then I think Nietzsche would say something like not to say that it's necessary. You could be the guy in the barrel and be happy as a clam. But I would argue then you're probably putting on a performance because you're probably in poor health. The diversity of characters in this world is shrinking. That is to say, everyone feels more and more like there are cog in the machine.
