The Death of Adama in Senegal

Vanell and Adama are trying to sort of set up their independent married lives in northern Senegal around the time that this is all happening. There's a kind of a witchcraft element that comes out here as well later on in the death of her first husband so there's these sort of witchy moments and it's all very moody. One of the most striking things about the correct or the excellent application of this particular style is how well she evokes drought which is a strange thing because you know drought affects so many parts of the globe at any time but not cinematically been rendered very much.
