The stories are written by Alvin Schwartz, but the drawings are by Steven Gammel. The one that stuck with me is Harold, which is the story of a scarecrow that comes to life. I think we've gotten very this is and something that's happening in horror movies: everything is very trauma focused. It's good for children to experience strong emotions. Not every strong emotion is a trauma.
