Part of a really good first kiss is also the framing, and that the physical positioning isn't awkward. Do moments bring us closer together with a client, or about the same? Is it neutral? And when something happens between the client and therapist where they are further apart, then hopefully there's the opportunity for repair to come back closer together. But so to think of the intake, n cornic intake, the assessment session, these first few sessions as the stage blocking of the perfect first kiss.
