God's People Are Making a Promise

The first 27 verses of Nehemiah 10 shows. 84 representative leaders of God's people that write their names down in order to make a firm covenant. They're making a promise and a commitment here to do what? Look at the rest of the verse. The rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple servants all who have separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of God join with their brothers, their nobles and enter into a curse and a note.
