For realism there would be no human beings if one that if there were no humanity and phenomenalism. higher value than humanity as a universal so for the author this is ultimately the root of his argument. The individual doesn't matter in relation to this greater universal we saw this during the inquisitions, he says. We can't do without nominalism which itself is the vision of the world whereby each individual is unique and irreplaceable for it.
