Eliot Smith's Future Butterfly

Eliot Smith is both the combination of no compromising slightly punk rock attitude mixed with mournful sadness. He obviously had a lot of Beatles influence among other things, an independent state sort of ticks all those boxes. It's got the wistful sadness. It's just a kind of very finely crafted song. And I'm not 100% sure what it, you know, I've cracked exactly what it's about.
