We have the same signal transduction pathways and neurons as you see in a fruit fly. We're sharing 98% of our DNA with a chimp or a bonobo. What is it that enables us to have all of this additional torture? It's incredibly interesting because I mean there's three and a half people on earth who have spent their entire careers being able to tell the difference between like a tree shrew neuron and a human neuron.
