My number three, also a reread of a beloved book is Viper's Tangle by Francois Mariac. It's about this man who is as sort of lived at odds with his family for many years. And he feels them all sniffing around, waiting for him to die so that they can get their hands on his money. There is there is upward turn but an ambiguous outcome at the end. Graham Green like that's very big.
