Is There a Systemic Cause of Insephalopathy?
I think for a lot of people and especially non neuro people, the challenge in something like this where there's so little to diagnostically like get traction on is even just to build a differential. So let me, let me reiterate this to you and make sure I have it right. Most of the time this is going to be a metabolic or toxic process. But if this is a drug overdose problem, that really doesn't belong in the neuro ICU, right? That really belongs in the NICU. What I will say, the thing can go both ways, right? Many, many NICUs are comfortable managing status epilepticus or nonconvulsive status epilepticuis.
