Aliza: There is something that we think of as maladaptive, that's often so adaptive. We say that kids with ADHD are maybe using some maladaptive ways of focusing their attention. But actually, it's exactly what they need to be doing to survive the experience that they have living in the brain That they have. Aliza: Kids learn best from modeling flexibility. And especially, like you said, in COVID, finding ways to make sense of our world as a two year old.
