The Importance of Communion
No general rule can be laid down for such a case. We must act in accordance with the advice of our spiritual director. Those who desire to serve God devoutly should not space their communions for periods longer than a month. If you act in a truly prudent way, neither father or mother will prevent you from receiving communion often.
