How to De-Ice Your Rod
I feel like I've got a tip that will help Austin Fishmore. You can reach the end of your rod and de-ice it without dipping the reel in the water because you can tuck it underneath your arm, break the rod in half, and then flip the rod over. The rod tip over and then bust the ice out of it instead of going to the bank. If it's so cold that that doesn't work, I'm probably done anyway. There's a trout pit and YouTube video on that.
