The Universe Is Equal to the Sum Total of the Stuff in It

If the universe consists of objects that are dependent, that cannot explain themselves, you end up with a contingent universe. You can't take a universe full of stuff that can't explain itself on an individual basis and when you put it all together, suddenly it does explain itself. The whole argument therefore can be summarized by writing the word contingent and an arrow from it to the word absolute, or from dependent, an arrow going to independent. We're simply defining god that way for purposes of this proof.
