The Importance of Street Epistemology

The more conspicuous or obvious the thing, the more extraordinary I have to fabricate some kind of potential thought experiment. So we've got as far in this conversation as, I strongly agree that the earth is flat. You say, what might change your mind? I say, I don't know. And then I can try to think of some, again, this is an extreme example. But it's a way of examining the process of street epistemology much more than the topic itself.
