Most investors default to automatic reinvestment, which is basically using the cash to buy more shares of the dividend pair. It's really an excellent way to build wealth because you gradually accumulate more shares that pay more dividends and so on. The total amount of cash that you receive grew sixfold in large part due to dividend reinvestment.
