Women in the 21st Century
As divorces sowed in the 19 seventies, many women ceased to rely on a male bread winner. Despite advances in education, women remain trapped in lower status and lower paid employment. The same old mediaeval barriers, care burdens and fraternal capital scupper 20 first century progress. Male bonde is part of the story building respect and trust. Homer, social shmoosing, talking about sports and sharing smoke breaks accounts for over a third of the gende gap at one asian bank. Big oil, where women comprise 38 % of entry level posts, but only ten percent of executives.
